1. Surround Yourself With Nature

Springtime is a great season to enjoy a walk along the river Lynch. Ducklings are learning to swim and beautiful flowers bloom alongside the river. The river is used for kayakers and rowers, and there are plenty of stunning sunspots and pubs to enjoy a drink as you go!

If it’s a nature walk that you would prefer, Danemead Nature Reserve is ideal. It’s located amidst extensive wooded areas, perfect for an afternoon walk. Sign posted with different trails to take, this nature reserve is great for adventure and exploring wildlife.

2. A Drink By The River

You can find many loved pubs and bars in Hoddesdon. One of the most popular spots to enjoy a drink is The Fish and Eels. The Fish and Eels is a cosy, atmospheric pub located besides the river, and therefore is a beautiful location to relax at this time of year and wind down with family and friends.

Surrounding the pub is acres of greenery and stunning views, so take a walk around the beautiful Hoddesdon area before coming to Fish and Eels for a pint by the water! The pub is also dog friendly, meaning none of the family gets left behind!
